　　UK gambling operator Gala Coral has just moved its online poker products to the iPoker network run by Playtech. This move finalizes the migration of Gala Coral's gambling products to Playtech.

　　Last year UK gambling operator Gala Coral has signed a 10-year deal with online casino game developer Playtech. The deal states that Gala Coral will receive all its online gambling products from Playtech. Shortly after the deal was closed, Playtech also acquired Gala Coral's sports betting platform provider Geneity for €11m.

　　Coral Poker and Gala Poker are the last Gala Coral brands that have completed the migration to Playtech. Gala Casino switched to Playtech this May which was followed by Gala Bingo in July. The betting brand of Gala Coral already migrated to Playtech in 2011 when the deal was closed between the two companies.

　　The online poker products owned by Gala Coral have previously been a part of the Ongame poker network. Ongame was just recently taken over by Amaya Gaming from bwin.party for an initial sum of €15m. The moving of Gala Coral could be another blow to the declining network.

　　One of the greatest highlights of the new iPoker and Playtech-based Gala Coral products will be the availability of fast fold poker. Many have attributed the decline of the Ongame network to the lack of speed poker, a poker variant that is becoming increasingly popular these days.

　　Coral Poker and Gala Poker will also very likely end up in the upper tier of the iPoker network. Recently the iPoker network was split into two tiers. The first tier is reserved for larger poker rooms that generate a lot of traffic and many new signups. The lower tier is reserved for smaller poker rooms.

　　Playtech's deal with Gala Coral is believed to worth €5 million per year in profits for the company. With this move, Playtech consolidates its leading position on the UK online poker market. Playtech already supplies software solutions to all of the UK's biggest operators such as William Hill, bet365 and Paddy Power.
